- • Lead the global monthly revenue close process in strict alignment with ASC 606 and SOX internal controls, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- • Own end-to-end revenue recognition accounting for complex SaaS arrangements, including multi-element contracts, subscription models, and variable consideration.
- • Ensure all revenue results are complete, validated, and delivered on schedule to meet strict close deadlines across global jurisdictions.
- • Partner directly with external auditors to facilitate clean interim and year-end audits with zero material adjustments.
- • Lead and enhance the contract review process by evaluating non-standard terms, pricing structures, and revenue implications in collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk teams.
- • Strengthen analytical review procedures for revenue, accounts receivable, and contract balance accounts to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- • Design, implement, and enforce global SOX internal controls over revenue recognition processes and financial reporting.
- • Bridge Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to GAAP revenue by analyzing variances, explaining drivers, and providing clear financial insights to FP&A.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales Operations, Legal, and Systems teams to align revenue accounting practices with business operations.
- • Lead, develop, and scale a team of six revenue accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance, team-first culture.
- • Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support business scalability.
- • Support and optimize quote-to-cash systems including NetSuite, Salesforce, and Zuora to ensure seamless revenue data flow and automation.
- • Leverage automation and AI tools to enhance accuracy, reduce risk, and improve the speed of revenue accounting workflows.
- • Maintain a disciplined close calendar with minimal variance, ensuring consistent delivery of financial results across all reporting periods.
- • Build scalable accounting systems and controls that can support Kaseya’s continued global growth and expansion into new markets.
- • Deliver clear, actionable financial visibility into revenue performance to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- • Ensure all revenue accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards as applicable.
- • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to modernize accounting processes and elevate team capabilities through training and development.
