  • • Ping Identity is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Sales to lead and develop a high-impact sales team across the Nordic countries. This pivotal role is instrumental in driving the company's growth by fostering an energized, competitive, and results-oriented sales force that excels at creating differentiated value for our enterprise customer base. The Director, Sales will be responsible for influencing and developing strategies that align with Ping Identity's overall vision, ensuring the team consistently achieves and exceeds business goals in the crucial SaaS enterprise marketplace.
  • • In this leadership position, you will be tasked with a comprehensive set of responsibilities aimed at building and maintaining a high-performance sales culture. Your day-to-day activities will involve creating, implementing, measuring, and reviewing strategic and operational plans tailored to your territory, ensuring alignment with Ping Identity's broader objectives. You will employ robust sales mechanisms, including detailed territory planning, account planning, rigorous opportunity inspection, effective pipeline management, and insightful account reviews, alongside regular forecast calls. A key aspect of your role will be to advise and coach the sales team, empowering them to expertly position and articulate Ping Identity’s compelling value proposition to enterprise customers, with the ultimate goal of increasing the average deal size and overall revenue. You will actively identify and pursue new opportunities to expand business activities within your designated region, leveraging strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and other partners to help source, develop, and progress business opportunities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning and controlling expenses associated with your area of responsibility, ensuring fiscal prudence. Establishing and nurturing strong working relationships with external parties, including partners and customers, will be crucial for achieving business goals. You will ensure effective use of and conformance to Ping Identity’s standard business practices and tools, such as Salesforce.com (SFDC), demonstrating a deep understanding of our systems and procedures.
  • • You will be a key communicator of Ping Identity’s vision, aligning both team and personal goals to drive business results. Providing direction, guidance, and fostering the professional development of your field team through mentoring and targeted initiatives will be a core function. You will embody and promote a strong teamwork ethic, encouraging cross-functional collaboration across all Ping Identity departments to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement and problem resolution. A significant part of your role will involve recruiting, building, and developing a high-performing team capable of delivering exceptional business results, including identifying, developing, and promoting high-potential employees. You will also be involved in making people-related decisions, such as hiring, promotions, merit increases, rewards and recognition, and training initiatives, and will drive the performance review and development planning process through annual and quarterly review meetings. You will build and maintain relationships with customers at the C-level across multiple verticals within large enterprise organizations, and leverage your established partner/SI network, working collaboratively with partners on projects. You will also build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing escalation management for problem resolution and driving initiatives that demonstrably improve customer satisfaction.
