  • • Ping Identity is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Sales for the Middle East region to lead and develop a high-performing sales team. This pivotal role is responsible for driving significant growth within the territory by fostering a competitive, energized team that delivers exceptional value to our enterprise customer base. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital identity solutions, ensuring both security and seamless user experiences for clients across various industries.   • • As the Sales Director, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of sales leadership. You will be tasked with creating, implementing, measuring, and reviewing strategic and operational plans that align with Ping Identity's overarching business goals. This involves meticulous territory planning, developing comprehensive account plans, conducting rigorous opportunity inspections, and actively managing the sales pipeline. You will also lead regular account reviews and forecast calls, ensuring the team remains focused and on track to meet its objectives. A key aspect of this role is advising and coaching the sales team on how to effectively position and articulate Ping Identity’s unique value proposition to enterprise customers, with the ultimate goal of increasing average deal size and market penetration. You will proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand business activities within your designated areas of responsibility, leveraging strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and other channel partners to source, develop, and progress business opportunities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning and controlling expenses within your area of responsibility, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Establishing and nurturing strong working relationships with external parties, including partners and key stakeholders, will be crucial for achieving business goals. You will also ensure effective use of and conformance to standard business practices and tools, such as Salesforce.com (SFDC), demonstrating a deep understanding of Ping Identity’s systems and procedures.
  • • You will be a key leader within Ping Identity, responsible for communicating the company's vision and aligning both team and personal goals to achieve critical business results. This includes providing clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to the field sales team, fostering their professional development and driving performance. A strong emphasis will be placed on living the value of teamwork and promoting cross-functional collaboration across all departments. You will be directly involved in recruiting, building, and developing a high-caliber team capable of delivering exceptional business results, identifying and nurturing high-potential employees for future growth. Your role will involve making and/or approving people-related decisions, including hiring, promotions, merit increases, rewards and recognition, and training initiatives. You will drive the performance review and development planning process, conducting annual and quarterly review meetings to ensure continuous improvement and career progression for your team members. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing escalation management for problem resolution and driving initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction. Your ability to build and maintain a high-performance culture, grounded in data, transparency, accountability, and agility, will be paramount to success.

The role requires flexibility for travel to the Middle East region to engage with customers and partners. Experience in transitioning a team from on-premise solutions to SaaS offerings is highly desirable, reflecting an understanding of modern software delivery models.
