  • • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with sales leadership to achieve sales and market share goals across national territories.
  • • Regularly review sales funnels and key opportunities, providing guidance to close deals and personally assisting with high-value or strategic opportunities when appropriate.
  • • Lead corporate and field training initiatives for Regional Managers and Field Sales Consultants to enhance sales performance and alignment with company strategy.
  • • Drive field marketing programs by setting goals, reviewing personnel performance, and delivering consistent positive reinforcement to the sales team.
  • • Design, execute, and manage National Sales Meetings to align sales strategy, reinforce messaging, and drive organizational cohesion.
  • • Create, maintain, and communicate commission structures that incentivize performance and align with business objectives.
  • • Develop quarterly goals for sales force expansion, recruiting, and diversity planning, while establishing geographic coverage plans to optimize market penetration.
  • • Train sales channels on product and service offerings, including administering a formal sales certification program to ensure competency and compliance.
  • • Replace underperforming sales personnel with goal-oriented individuals and organizations to maintain high-performance standards.
  • • Support marketing communication efforts by reviewing collateral from a sales perspective, ensuring alignment with customer needs and sales objectives.
  • • Ensure effective staffing of trade shows with qualified sales personnel and collaborate with marketing and merchandising on lead generation, promotions, and future planning.
  • • Drive focus on key P&L metrics with sales leaders to enhance profitability and financial accountability.
  • • Assist the Business Development Group with new projects and initiatives to expand market reach and revenue streams.
  • • Develop and maintain a DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) strategy to improve cash flow and financial efficiency.
  • • Manage territory alignment to optimize sales coverage, reduce overlap, and maximize revenue potential.
  • • Improve cross-team communication and collaboration to increase overall organizational effectiveness and responsiveness.
  • • Demonstrate mastery in pipeline management, forecasting, budget analysis, and CRM system utilization to drive data-informed sales decisions.
  • • Lead and develop virtual teams across the United States with strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
  • • Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders, influencing strategic direction through data, insight, and persuasive presentation.
  • • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, external market trends, and internal performance metrics to guide business decisions.
  • • Plan and execute complex projects with clear timelines, resource allocation, and responsibility assignments to meet organizational goals.
  • • Utilize outstanding negotiation, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills to manage strategic alliances and navigate organizational dynamics.
  • • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of dental industry practices, with lab experience preferred, and apply this knowledge to sales strategy and team development.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 15 years of experience in sales management with P&L responsibility
  • • National sales leadership experience with proven organizational and administrative skills
  • • Dental industry experience required; lab experience preferred
  • • College degree required; Master’s degree a plus
  • • Proficiency in CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, and Microsoft Office
  • • Proficiency in budget analysis and management
