Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As Director, SIOP (Americas) at Solenis LLC, you will serve as the regional business integrator responsible for building and operating the Americas SIOP/Integrated Business Planning (IBP) decision cadence that aligns Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics around a single set of numbers and an executable plan. This role is critical to ensuring the region translates demand signals into feasible supply and inventory plans while proactively identifying constraints and driving measurable improvements in service performance, working capital, and inventory turns.
- • You will own the end-to-end monthly SIOP/IBP cycle for the Americas, establishing agendas, standard work, inputs, and analytics to ensure cross-functional forums collaborate effectively, generate clear risks and opportunities, quantify gaps, define actionable outcomes, and assign documented owners. This governance function ensures disciplined, transparent, and accountable planning processes across the enterprise.
- • You will drive the creation and maintenance of a "One-Number Plan" — a single aligned regional forecast with agreed-upon assumptions — by collaborating closely with Commercial to improve forecast accuracy, reduce bias, strengthen demand signals, and ensure Operations and Supply Chain feasibility is incorporated early in the planning process.
- • You will manage structured scenario planning and decision-making under constraints such as asset capacity, raw material availability, logistics limitations, or quality issues, owning supply allocation frameworks that support customer segmentation, service policies, margin-based decisions, and executive escalation when needed.
- • You will drive measurable reductions in excess, obsolete, and hidden-buffer inventory by implementing disciplined safety stock, lead time, and segmentation governance, while partnering with Finance to align planning and inventory targets with financial commitments and working capital goals.
- • You will build a performance management system tracking key metrics including OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), schedule attainment, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and freight costs, while leading root-cause resolution for recurring planning issues to continuously improve planning effectiveness.
- • You will establish expectations and capability standards for planners across the region, coaching and developing talent to strengthen bench depth, and defining adoption requirements for standard work and governance rhythms to ensure sustainable capability building.
- • You will serve as the Americas customer and deployment partner to the Global Supply Chain Excellence / Plan-to-Deliver Center of Excellence (CoE), adopting global standards, tools, and KPIs locally, and providing structured feedback on playbook gaps, adoption barriers, training needs, and system enablement priorities to drive continuous improvement.
- • You will operate with executive presence, challenging and aligning senior leaders without direct authority, using systems thinking and pragmatic execution to influence outcomes, close gaps, and maintain high accountability in ambiguous environments.
- • You will contribute to Solenis’ mission as a global leader in water and hygiene solutions, supporting customers in improving operational efficiencies, enhancing product quality, protecting plant assets, minimizing environmental impact, and creating cleaner and safer environments through innovative chemistries and digital monitoring systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- • 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in SIOP/IBP, planning, or supply chain management
- • Demonstrated experience building and/or running executive SIOP governance processes
- • Proven record delivering measurable outcomes in working capital/inventory turns, service stabilization, and planning discipline and governance
- • Excellent executive facilitation, collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities
- • Experience in complex manufacturing environments, preferably specialty chemicals or process manufacturing with multi-site and multi-business portfolios
- • Experience with planning systems and analytics tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or OMP preferred
- • Executive presence with ability to challenge and align senior leaders and influence outcomes without direct authority
- • Systems thinker with pragmatic operator mindset, high accountability orientation, and comfort using data to drive actions in ambiguous situations
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive compensation range of $163,550.00 to $239,866.00 base salary plus discretionary bonuses
- • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K retirement plans

- • Recognition as part of a 2025 Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree

- • Opportunity to make measurable impact on service performance, working capital, and inventory turns across the Americas region
