- • As Director, Strategic Bureau Business Manager at Social Finance, Inc. (SoFi), you will architect and lead a centralized framework for credit data engagement, moving beyond traditional vendor management to build a high-leverage, diversified data ecosystem that drives measurable business value across product lines.
- • You will centralize engagement with Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) and specialized FCRA vendors, manage the full value chain of data exchange, conduct audits for data quality and spend efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance with FCRA and GDPR, and establish performance-based partnerships that prioritize ROI and differentiated data assets.

- • In this role, you will develop strategic agility in data partnerships, drive cross-functional collaboration with Risk, Data Science, and Engineering teams, and establish yourself as the primary business liaison for major CRAs, enabling the organization to pivot agilely between providers based on real-time data performance and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of experience in credit data ecosystems, bureau operations, or fintech risk management
- • Proven track record managing multi-million dollar vendor relationships and navigating complex, large-scale RFP processes
- • Proficiency in modern data environments and ability to translate complex data studies into executive-level business strategies
- • Expertise in alternative data landscapes including trended data, utility/telco, and cash-flow analytics
- • Comprehensive knowledge of FCRA, GDPR, and relevant compliance standards governing credit reporting and data usage
- • Exceptional ability to drive cross-functional alignment between technical and business teams to execute a unified data vision
