  • • As the Director of Strategic Cloud Partnerships at New Relic, you will lead the company’s relationships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, serving as the primary architect of these high-impact partnerships to ensure cloud infrastructure spend translates into strategic leverage, better margins, and accelerated market growth.
  • • You will define and evolve partnership strategy, lead joint business planning and go-to-market integration, orchestrate cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, and Marketing, and establish performance governance through dashboards and operating cadences to track partnership health and strategic impact.
  • • You will lead commercial negotiations of major cloud agreements, manage cloud spend oversight by partnering with FinOps and Finance, and ensure contracts reflect business needs through deep understanding of consumption patterns and cost models.
  • • You will partner with executive leadership across sales, marketing, engineering, product, finance, procurement, and services to align co-sell and co-marketing efforts, drive Better-Together content and customer win stories, and ensure New Relic’s strategic engagements with hyperscalers support company-wide objectives.
  • • New Relic is a global innovator in observability, building an intelligent platform that empowers companies to thrive in an AI-first world by providing unparalleled insight into complex systems; this role is critical to expanding the company’s global footprint through strategic cloud alliances.
  • • You will learn to navigate and influence large, complex hyperscaler organizations, sharpen your commercial negotiation skills at the executive level, and gain deep expertise in cloud economics, GTM motion, and partnership-driven revenue acceleration.
  • • You will achieve measurable impact by turning cloud partnerships into revenue engines, optimizing financial outcomes, and helping New Relic’s customers optimize their digital applications through better-integrated, co-sold solutions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of experience in Cloud Partner Management, Business Development, or Product Management
  • • Deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the SaaS market
  • • Proven experience leading the negotiation of at least one major cloud agreement
