- • The Director, Strategic Partner Accounts will be instrumental in working with the largest and most strategic national and global partners to gain mindshare, increase technical, sales and services capabilities to achieve sales targets, delivering strategic business plans and ensuring partners are skilled to both sell and deliver services in support of their Tanium business.
- • Day to day, the role involves being the single point of contact and fully accountable for growing the most strategic partners at a regional or global level, driving new customer and ARR growth across all business and go-to-market motions, developing and executing advanced business plans with detailed sales, marketing, technical and services strategies, building executive-level relationships, educating Tanium sales teams on partner value propositions, enabling partner technical resources to promote Tanium, and aligning Tanium’s value proposition with partner strategy and objectives.
- • Tanium is the Autonomous IT company, driven by AI and real-time endpoint intelligence, empowering IT and security teams to make organizations unstoppable, with many of the world’s leading organizations trusting its unified platform for endpoint management and security to innovate faster, stay resilient, and move business forward with confidence at scale.
- • In this role, the person can learn to shape global partner strategy, deepen expertise in enterprise IT and security ecosystems, build C-level relationships with top-tier global systems integrators and MSPs, and drive measurable ARR growth through strategic partner enablement and co-selling initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 7 years of experience in a national/global partner sales role in the IT Operations and/or IT Security industry
- • Experience creating a geographic partner business across national or global partnerships
- • Experience as a quota carrying seller or business development position with a successful track record
- • Experience working with large enterprise focused integrators, MSPs or GSI with deep technical and services knowledge
- • Deep understanding of how to create and execute services strategies with large partner organizations
- • Existing C-level relationships with large SI and GSI partners around the world
