  • • Lead the US launch of empasiprubart for Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN), a critical milestone in argenx’s portfolio expansion and long-term growth strategy, ensuring market readiness for a therapy poised to transform treatment for patients with this rare autoimmune neuropathy.
  • • Drive cross-functional execution of launch and commercialization tactics, including positioning, messaging, disease state and branded campaigns, while leading the US HCP vaccination strategy to reduce delays in treatment initiation and optimize engagement journeys across channels.
  • • Partner with Senior Director of US HCP Medical and Global Commercial teams to represent argenx at industry conferences, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and collaborate with Medical, Legal/Compliance, Patient Engagement, Field Sales, Market Access, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliant, timely, and impactful HCP-directed tactics.
  • • Define, monitor, and evolve KPIs to assess launch performance, synthesize customer insights from HCP Advisory Boards and market research, and adapt strategy based on data to guide strategic adjustments and ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • • Manage key agency partners (AOR, P2P, Media) in developing and executing market development and branded campaigns, while navigating the Promotional Material Review process with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to prioritize compliant execution.
  • • Foster entrepreneurial agility by challenging the status quo, making quick decisions with urgency, influencing without authority, and prioritizing efforts across teams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where science-driven innovation meets patient-centric commercialization.
  • • Contribute to a legacy of scientific excellence and community-first healthcare at argenx, a purpose-driven biotech that blends startup agility with rigorous science to deliver transformative medicines for autoimmune patients, with empasiprubart representing the company’s second therapeutic asset and a pivotal step in portfolio diversification.
  • • Grow professionally by leading a high-visibility, multidimensional launch in rare disease neurology, gaining deep expertise in HCP vaccination strategy, regulatory-compliant marketing, cross-functional leadership, and commercial strategy execution within a growing, innovative biotech committed to patient impact and scientific advancement.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BS/BA degree (science or business preferred); MBA is a plus
  • • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • • US in-market commercial launch experience preferred; rare disease and/or Neurology experience preferred
  • • Demonstrated ability to translate insights and metrics into strategies and tactical execution; ability to synthesize insights, define KPIs, and adapt strategy based on performance
  • • Experience managing external agency partners and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Medical, Legal/Compliance, Patient Engagement, Field Sales, Market Access, etc.)
  • • Agility, entrepreneurial mindset, ability to influence without authority, work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and act with urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • • Understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions; strong project management, communication, and organization skills
  • • Willingness to travel 30%
