- • The Director, US Strategic Partnerships will own, grow, and manage Zip’s strategic partnerships in the US, driving merchant and consumer growth through high-impact collaborations with AI and technology leaders.
- • Day to day, the role involves developing partnership strategies and multi-year roadmaps, leading GTM functions for new and existing partners, managing the partnership pipeline, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, risk, data, and finance teams to execute joint solutions and co-marketing initiatives.
- • Zip Co Limited is a digital financial services company operating in the US and ANZ, offering point-of-sale credit and digital payment services, guided by values of Customer First, Own It, Stronger Together, and Change the Game, with a remote-first culture and optional in-person work in Manhattan.
- • The person in this role will become a visible leader and subject-matter expert on AI and platform partnerships, drive revenue and margin impact through strategic alliances with OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon, Meta, and Adobe, and develop expertise in leveraging AI tools for partnership insights, reporting, and revenue optimization while influencing executives and shaping Zip’s US partnership strategy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of industry or consulting experience, with at least 5+ years in strategy, partnerships, or technology business development managing key relationships with AI or platform partners such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS/Amazon, Meta, or Adobe
- • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, strong comfort with data-driven decision-making, and a track record of optimizing commercial outcomes at scale
- • Proven ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, Salesforce Einstein) to improve decision-making, efficiency, GTM execution, or partner engagement
- • Demonstrated experience leading complex deal cycles end-to-end, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally
- • Proficiency in Salesforce and GTM execution, including tracking complex deals, managing partner pipelines, and executing go-to-market strategies with sales and marketing teams
- • Consulting experience at a top-tier firm (e.g., Deloitte, McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or in a similarly rigorous strategic environment is a plus
