- • Lead and drive sales strategy for distribution transformers across North America, aligning with company goals and market dynamics to ensure sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
- • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, identify market trends, and lead the sales team to achieve targets while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in the Vernova Way.
- • Own end-to-end deal lifecycle from strategy to delivery, manage portfolio performance, and ensure alignment with financial and operational commitments including pricing, convertibility, and risk exposure.
- • Build and maintain deep customer relationships by understanding their business models, decision-making processes, and market needs to drive long-term mutual success and satisfaction.
- • Optimize sales processes using Lean methodologies, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency in delivering commercial offerings on time and with quality.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, business intelligence, and fulfillment teams to share market insights, influence product development, and support supply chain readiness via SIOP processes.
- • Mentor, coach, and develop sales talent, attract top performers, and build a resilient team capable of executing complex technical and commercial solutions.
- • Represent the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback on product enhancements, service capabilities, and innovation needs based on field insights and market intelligence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Electric Transmission & Distribution Grid industry or adjacent sectors with technical expertise in electric transformers and their applications.
- • At least 5 years of commercial, marketing, or operational experience, preferably within the T&D business space.
- • Minimum 2 years of experience managing or leading experienced industry professionals.
- • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time or more as required.
