- • The Document Centre Associate role is a 6-month fixed term contract position at Woodstock Legal Services, part of the Lawhive Group, based in Poole. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth, secure, and confidential handling of all incoming and outgoing legal correspondence, directly supporting lawyers and their clients by maintaining an efficient post and file management system.
- • Day to day, the person will open, review, and record all incoming post, identify and log correspondence by lawyer and client onto the matter system, communicate updates to legal teams, print and securely package outgoing client or lawyer correspondence, maintain records for tracing, organise and securely store legal files including deed packets, and assist with archiving or returning documents to clients as needed.
- • The Post Team is a vital part of the Lawyer Support Team at Woodstock Legal Services, operating in a people-first, collaborative culture that values innovation and professional growth. As part of a fast-growing, forward-thinking organisation, you’ll contribute to a secure and efficient legal support environment where attention to detail and process excellence are highly valued.
- • In this role, you will develop strong administrative and organisational skills within a legal services context, gain experience handling sensitive client data with discretion, improve your ability to manage high-volume correspondence accurately, and contribute to a supportive team where proactive problem-solving and reliability are recognised and rewarded.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience working within a post room or administrative support role in legal services is a plus but not essential
- • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a love of processes
- • Proactive - you take ownership, spot gaps, and act on them
- • A team player, happy to support the wider team where able to
- • Professional, discreet, and reliable – especially with sensitive client data
