- • Drive significant revenue growth for Sartorius' cutting-edge downstream purification products, including monolith chromatography and tangential flow filtration (TFF), specifically targeting the rapidly expanding cell and gene therapy market.
- • Spearhead early-stage seeding activities to successfully introduce and integrate new strategic products into the cell and gene therapy landscape, ensuring alignment with and achievement of Sartorius group sales targets for designated products or product groups.
- • Actively manage and nurture key accounts, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through proactive engagement and the development of robust customer partnerships, underpinned by deep technical expertise.
- • Collaborate closely with Commercial Development Managers and Field Application Specialists to meticulously manage the entire opportunity lifecycle, from initial lead generation to successful deal closure.
- • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory growth plan, working in tandem with commercial development managers to strategically penetrate and expand market share within the assigned geographic region.
- • Provide essential technical and commercial support to both Commercial Development Managers and customers, offering expert guidance on relevant products and complex bioprocessing workflows.
- • Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) diligently to manage and document all leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, ensuring the CRM system is consistently updated with accurate and comprehensive sales activity data.
- • Achieve specific "Spec Win" targets for ATS products and product groups, actively promoting and integrating these solutions into the (pre)clinical to commercial manufacturing processes for cell/gene therapies and DNA/RNA therapeutics.
- • Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with a diverse range of customers and key stakeholders, including leading scientists, innovative researchers, and influential executives within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.
- • Travel extensively within your assigned territory, up to 50% of the time, to conduct customer visits, attend critical industry trade shows, and represent Sartorius at key scientific and commercial events.
- • Coordinate and actively participate in targeted marketing activities within your territory to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support overall sales initiatives.
- • Proactively drive the market introduction of newly launched innovative products and services, ensuring successful implementation and adoption by customers.
- • Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and identify new market opportunities.
- • Foster cross-functional collaboration to maximize sales within shared accounts and contribute to the overall sales objectives of the company.
- • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the cell and gene therapy market, including the specific challenges and needs of customers in this dynamic field.
- • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Sartorius' downstream purification solutions, highlighting their benefits in terms of efficiency, scalability, and quality for therapeutic development and manufacturing.
- • Leverage technical knowledge to troubleshoot customer challenges and provide tailored solutions that align with their specific process requirements.
- • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics by providing valuable market insights and customer feedback.
- • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and technical proficiency, staying abreast of product updates, new features, and application notes.
