Driver Compliance Business Partner

📋 Description

• • Serve as the primary DOT/Driver Compliance resource for 4,000 company drivers within the assigned territory, ensuring full alignment with Federal regulations and Ferguson policies.
• • Monitor, collect, and maintain comprehensive accident files for all DOT reportable incidents, including documentation, telematics data, reports, and photographs, and produce distributed reports for analysis.
• • Centralize and manage DOT Roadside Inspection citations using the monthly DOT Citations Report, implementing corrective action plans and verifying proof of defect resolution and repair.
• • Oversee camera-based driver behavior recognition systems, collaborating with location management to hold drivers accountable, facilitating mentoring and counseling for unsafe behaviors, and assigning required training.
• • Ensure compliance with Telematics system requirements including DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) and eHOS (electronic Hours of Service), reviewing adherence, developing corrective actions, and driving toward 100% DVIR completion.
• • Review and update driver profiles in the Motive system for accuracy and completeness, identifying and escalating non-compliance instances and producing associated reports.
• • Monitor Safe Driving Behavior Scores across the territory, enforcing accountability, identifying behavioral trends, and partnering with management on targeted intervention strategies.
• • Provide direct support and training to location managers on the effective use of the Motive telematics platform, ensuring operational proficiency and consistent application of safety protocols.
• • Facilitate adherence to Fleet policies and guidelines across all assigned branches, serving as the initial point of contact for driver-related DOT compliance inquiries.
• • Actively participate in monthly territory calls to report progress, address field concerns, and align with local management on compliance priorities.
• • Analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends, inefficiencies, and compliance gaps, formulating actionable corrective plans and escalating concerns to leadership.
• • Prepare and deliver management reports on driver compliance metrics, safety performance, and program effectiveness.
• • Support the development and execution of key Fleet and DOT initiatives, contributing to corporate safety goals and operational excellence.
• • Maintain strict confidentiality of driver and operational data, ensuring all actions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple compliance tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• • Operate with a high degree of independence while maintaining open, timely communication with direct management and cross-functional teams.
• • Represent Ferguson professionally, upholding standards of customer service, safety, and ethical conduct in all driver compliance interactions.
