- • The ED Clinical Specialist - Point of Care role at Abbott Laboratories supports the sales process by providing clinical expertise to identify and present operational workflow efficiencies in emergency departments, aligning improved clinical outcomes with Abbott’s Point of Care product portfolio.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include selling technical products and services, acting as a technical interface between customers and internal teams (engineering, R&D, medical affairs), researching customer specifications, preparing and conducting technical sales briefings, developing technical specifications and pricing considerations, preparing sales forecasts, and investigating new product applications with customers.

- • In this role, you will develop expertise in clinical workflow optimization, technical sales in healthcare, stakeholder engagement with emergency department leadership, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to improved patient outcomes through innovative diagnostic solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completed bachelor’s degree required; MSc or PhD in medical sciences preferred
- • Six to ten years of relevant experience in clinical, technical, or sales support roles
- • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately in both English and French (bilingual preferred)
- • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without direct authority, build professional relationships, and work independently or as part of a team
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with initiative and prioritization abilities
- • Ability to speak confidently in public and present to executive-level management; Six Sigma black belt and operational efficiency knowledge preferred
