- • Serve as a Sales Development Representative to generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting activities including cold calling and email campaigns.
- • Set up qualified meetings for the Sales Team to build and expand the company’s pipeline of potential customers.
- • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to execute go-to-market campaigns and align outreach strategies with campaign objectives.
- • Partner with the Sales Team to refine targeting strategies for specific territories and customer segments such as IT, Business Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Support Operations.
- • Engage with existing customers to understand their current use of Workato and identify opportunities for expansion or additional adoption.
- • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within designated timeframes through consistent and measurable outreach efforts.
- • Conduct research on prospect companies and decision-makers to personalize outreach and improve conversion rates.
- • Utilize business applications including Google Apps, Outreach, Zoominfo, Slack, and Salesforce (SFDC) to manage leads, track interactions, and report activity.
- • Continuously improve performance by incorporating feedback from managers and peers to optimize outreach techniques and pipeline development.
- • Demonstrate strong initiative and self-direction in a fast-paced startup environment where personal accountability drives team success.
- • Maintain a high-energy, positive attitude while managing a high volume of outbound contacts and navigating complex sales cycles from initial contact to qualification.
- • Communicate clearly and persuasively in English, both verbally and in writing, to articulate the value of Workato’s integration and automation platform to diverse prospects.
- • Develop technical fluency in Workato’s enterprise iPaaS platform to effectively discuss integration use cases and automation solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and processes in a dynamic, remote-first sales environment that values innovation and ownership.
- • Contribute creatively to team initiatives by sharing insights on prospect behavior, messaging effectiveness, and territory strategy.
- • Embrace a culture of self-care and productivity balance while maintaining high performance standards in a results-driven role.
