- • As an Educational Consultant - Per Diem, you will support educators by delivering high-quality professional development and training on Curriculum Associates’ award-winning learning programs like i-Ready, helping to create equitable classrooms for K–8 students across California.
- • Day to day, you will facilitate on-site product training and professional learning courses for teachers and administrators, tailor workshops to participant needs, provide lesson planning and data analysis support, and engage in coaching cycles with feedback and observation to continuously improve your practice.
- • You will join a mission-driven team of over 2,500 lifelong learners at Curriculum Associates, a company dedicated for over 50 years to improving classrooms and supporting educators through innovative, accessible learning programs that serve a third of the nation’s K–8 students.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in i-Ready and core math and reading programs, strengthen your adult facilitation and data-driven coaching skills, and gain experience working collaboratively with school leaders and curriculum specialists to drive instructional improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and delivering professional development.
- • Strong working knowledge of State Standards for ELA and Mathematics for Grades K–8, including content and practice standards.
- • Fluency with digital tools for online assessments and comfort discussing and applying data with educators.
- • Understanding of adult learning principles and ability to apply them to professional development to meet learning objectives.
- • Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with proven time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- • Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team, with proficiency in Office programs and familiarity with online meeting platforms like Zoom or WebEx.

- • Competitive hourly rate starting at $65/hour for professional learning delivery, with additional pay for preparation, co-facilitation, internal meetings, and travel.
