📋 Description
- • As an Educational Consultant - Per Diem, you will support Curriculum Associates’ mission to improve classrooms and student outcomes by delivering high-quality professional development and training to educators using award-winning programs like i-Ready, which serves a third of the nation’s K–8 students.
- • Day to day, you will facilitate professional development sessions, provide coaching and support to teachers and school leaders, analyze educational data, and communicate consultatively with educators to help them implement programs effectively, working closely with the Director of Professional Learning, sales team, and other Curriculum Associates professionals.
- • You will join a mission-driven team of over 2,500 lifelong learners dedicated to creating equitable, accessible learning experiences and supporting educators through innovative, research-based programs and world-class support.
- • In this role, you can deepen your expertise in adult learning principles, data-informed instruction, and educational leadership while making a tangible impact on teaching practices and student achievement across diverse school communities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development.
- • Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K–8 (or comparable state standards), including both content and practice standards.
- • Fluency with digital tools including online assessments and comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders.
- • Understanding of adult learning principles and ability to apply them to professional development to ensure learning objectives are met.
- • Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and high attention to detail.

- • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30/hour to $65/hour based on work type (e.g., at-home vs. away-from-home tasks).
- • Reimbursement for travel expenses, including mileage, and ability to retain travel points from flights and hotels booked for work-related travel.

- • Eligibility for accrued sick time as a per-diem employee.
- • Potential eligibility for medical coverage under the Affordable Care Act for those averaging and maintaining at least 30 hours of work per week after an initial waiting period.
