Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Join Nerdy—the nation’s leading curated platform for live online learning—and become the trusted advisor who connects K-12 families with the exact academic support they need, when they need it. In this part-time, fully-remote role you will own the entire consultative sales cycle, from warm inbound inquiry to delighted customer, while working a schedule you design.
  • • Act as the first human touchpoint for parents and adult learners who have expressed interest in tutoring, test-prep, enrichment, or homeschooling solutions. You will listen deeply to goals, diagnose learning gaps, and translate them into personalized learning plans that leverage Nerdy’s 3,000+ rigorously vetted subject-matter experts and award-winning technology.
  • • Deliver high-impact virtual consultations via Zoom or phone, guiding families through pricing, tutor matching, scheduling, and onboarding in a single call. Your ability to blend empathy with data—MAP scores, GPA trends, college-admission timelines—will turn uncertainty into confidence and inquiries into long-term memberships.
  • • Consistently exceed monthly enrollment and revenue targets (expect 15-20 consults per week) by applying a consultative, needs-based sales methodology rather than high-pressure tactics. You will track every interaction in Salesforce, forecast accurately, and iterate on your pitch using real-time performance dashboards.
  • • Collaborate daily with our Learning Concierge, Tutor Operations, and Product teams to surface customer insights that shape new curriculum offerings and platform features. Your voice will directly influence which subjects, grade bands, and delivery formats we scale next.
  • • Champion customer success post-sale by conducting 30-day check-ins, celebrating wins, and identifying upsell opportunities (e.g., SAT add-on after Algebra gains). Retention and referral growth are key metrics; you’ll nurture a personal pipeline of advocates who bring friends and siblings to the platform.
  • • Maintain expert-level knowledge of state standards, competitive landscape, and college-entrance trends so you can speak credibly to parents comparing Kumon, Varsity, or DIY options. Quarterly enablement sessions and micro-certifications keep your expertise razor-sharp.
  • • Work from anywhere with a stable internet connection and professional home-office setup. Shifts are flexible—mornings, evenings, or weekends—so long as you meet 20-25 hours per week and align with peak inquiry windows (typically 3-8 p.m. local). We respect life outside of work.
  • • Earn uncapped commissions on every closed plan plus accelerators for multi-subject enrollments. Top part-time reps routinely double their base compensation, making this an ideal role for educators seeking supplemental income without classroom hours.
  • • Represent a mission-driven company that has delivered 10 million+ hours of live instruction and raised student GPAs by an average of 0.8 within one semester. Your success stories will be celebrated on company-wide calls and featured in marketing campaigns that inspire millions of families.
