- • As an Eligibility Representative at Accredo, a specialty pharmacy division of The Cigna Group, you will play a vital role in helping patients with complex medical conditions access life-saving medications by verifying insurance coverage and resolving benefit issues with empathy and precision.
- • Day to day, you will perform medical and pharmacy benefit verifications by contacting insurance companies or using provider portals, coordinate reimbursable services, review insurance criteria at shipment to prevent bad debt, and collaborate across departments to resolve coverage issues and ensure timely patient onboarding.
- • You will join a dedicated team within Evernorth Health Services focused on improving patient access to specialty pharmacy solutions, where your work directly supports the mission to make prediction, prevention, and treatment of illness more accessible through innovative care and benefit solutions.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in healthcare insurance processes, strengthen your problem-solving and communication skills, and gain experience in a dynamic, mission-driven environment that values collaboration, independent judgment, and patient-centered service.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- • 2+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare, professional office, or patient access settings
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and excellent written and oral communication skills
