Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • As Twilio's next EMEA Growth Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in driving measurable revenue growth across the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets. This pivotal role focuses on leveraging data-driven lifecycle and engagement programs to enhance customer activation, adoption, and overall value.
  • You will be the architect of cohesive customer experiences, meticulously designing, launching, and optimizing campaigns across a diverse range of channels including email, SMS, in-product surfaces, and website interactions. Your strategic approach will ensure that customers are guided through key moments in their journey, fostering deeper product usage and accelerating Twilio's growth trajectory.
  • A core responsibility involves identifying and activating critical lifecycle moments. This means understanding the customer journey intimately and intervening at precisely the right junctures to improve initial activation, deepen product adoption, and guide users towards the most relevant product paths for their needs.
  • This position thrives on a 'test and learn' philosophy. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and scaling experiments to continuously refine messaging, optimize campaign timing, and perfect the channel mix. A strong bias towards rapid iteration and continuous learning will be essential for success.
  • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Analytics teams to build data-informed programs. This involves leveraging sophisticated tools and pipelines such as Twilio Segment, Salesforce, and reverse ETL to ensure programs are targeted, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Continuous analysis of program performance is paramount. You will delve into the data, extract actionable insights, and use these findings to refine strategies, increase customer lifetime value, and accelerate product adoption across the EMEA region.
  • The unique complexities of the EMEA market – encompassing compliance regulations, varying product availability, and language barriers – present a significant opportunity for this role. You will take full ownership of our self-service ecosystem, developing targeted campaigns and tactics to unlock the vast potential within our thousands of developers building on Twilio, recognizing that a one-size-fits-all approach is insufficient.
  • You will be expected to build and challenge hypotheses, engaging stakeholders and peers to drive performance improvements across all marketing channels. This requires a proactive and analytical mindset, coupled with strong communication skills to articulate strategies and results.
  • This role is deeply integrated with the product's success, focusing on how to best onboard, engage, and retain users through intelligent marketing automation and personalized communication. You will be a key player in ensuring that our growth marketing efforts directly translate into tangible business outcomes.
  • By understanding customer behavior and intent signals, you will craft personalized journeys that resonate with individual user needs, thereby maximizing engagement and minimizing churn. This involves a deep dive into user data to segment audiences effectively and deliver the right message, through the right channel, at the right time.
  • You will contribute to the evolution of Twilio's growth marketing strategies by staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing, customer engagement, and product-led growth, particularly within the SaaS landscape.
  • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to demonstrably impact key growth metrics, including user activation rates, feature adoption, customer retention, and ultimately, revenue generation within the EMEA region.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a proven track record of driving activation, adoption, and revenue impact within a SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced customer data platforms and orchestration tools such as Segment, reverse ETL pipelines, Salesforce, and in-product orchestration tools for building and targeting discrete audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI agents and automation tools to accelerate campaign production, experimentation, personalization, and insight generation at scale.
  • Proven ability to design and execute sophisticated omnichannel programs triggered by customer behavior, intent signals, and lifecycle data.
  • Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and the ability to identify key moments that influence product usage and future customer value.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to independently explore data, develop actionable insights, and translate findings into effective marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

🏖️ Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision).
  • Ample parental and wellness leave.
  • Retirement savings program.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
  • A remote-first work environment with a strong culture of connection and inclusion.
  • Potential for occasional travel to participate in project or team in-person meetings.
