- • As an EMEA Senior Account Manager at Lonza Group Ltd., you will be instrumental in driving strategic intercompany sales activities across the European, Middle Eastern, and African (EMEA) region. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned professional who can lead complex, cross-functional projects, optimize sales processes, and foster robust internal partnerships to ensure seamless transactions and significant revenue growth. You will operate from either our Basel or Visp locations, with an expectation of up to 40% travel within Europe, engaging with key stakeholders and driving business objectives.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to lead the planning and execution of intercompany sales strategies throughout the EMEA region. This involves developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans that align with Lonza's global objectives and regional market dynamics. You will be at the forefront of identifying opportunities to enhance revenue streams and expand market share within the Bioscience business area, directly contributing to the company's overall performance.
- • A critical aspect of this role is the negotiation and management of intercompany agreements. You will ensure these agreements are not only commercially sound but also strictly adhere to Lonza's internal policies and relevant external regulations. This requires a meticulous approach to contract management and a deep understanding of legal and compliance frameworks within the life sciences sector.
- • The role demands a strong analytical capability to dissect sales data. This data-driven approach will inform strategic decision-making and guide the development of initiatives aimed at increasing overall sales revenue and profitability.
- • Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal partners across various business units is paramount. You will act as a key liaison, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment between different departments, such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance. Effective communication and stakeholder management will be crucial to achieving shared goals and facilitating smooth intercompany operations.

This may involve evaluating and recommending new tools or methodologies to support sales activities.
- • You will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, revenue, and intercompany transactions. This includes tracking progress against targets, identifying deviations, and implementing timely corrective actions to ensure objectives are met. Accurate and consistent reporting of sales and financial data will be essential for management oversight and strategic adjustments.
- • This position offers an agile career path within a dynamic and ethical working culture. Lonza is committed to supporting the development and manufacture of breakthrough therapies, and this role plays a significant part in that mission. You will be part of a globally connected team working to improve lives, contributing to a business area that is vital to Lonza's Bioscience performance. The role provides an opportunity to shape sales processes, optimize cross-functional collaboration, and directly impact the growth of a key business segment.
