📋 Description

• The Employee Experience Manager at Directive Consulting LLC plays a critical role in maintaining and improving HR functions across Canada and the United States, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and a positive employee experience in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing HRIS records for Canadian and US employees, supporting onboarding and offboarding, preparing HR documents, responding to employee inquiries, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws, processing payroll, administering benefits, managing work authorizations and visas, and supporting employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
• Directive Consulting is a leading B2B marketing agency with over a decade of expertise, serving 420+ brands through its Performance, Communications, and Commerce divisions, united by the DiscoverabilityOS™ methodology that aligns brand and demand to drive measurable outcomes.
• In this role, the individual will develop expertise in cross-border HR operations, deepen knowledge of Canadian and US employment regulations, strengthen HRIS and payroll systems proficiency, and contribute to building an inclusive, high-performance culture while gaining experience in a dynamic, results-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources
• Employee relations experience
• Payroll and tax knowledge
• Knowledge of a wide range of human resource practices, including compliance, leave management, benefits management, vendor relationships
• Ideally strong knowledge of both CAN and US HR practices
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Solid time management skills and strong ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, open, entrepreneurial environment
