- • The Employee Relations Partner supports a healthy and productive work environment by managing employee relations matters, conducting investigations, and advising on policy interpretation across the organization.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on ER policies, independently managing employee relations cases (performance issues, disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution), partnering with Legal on escalated cases, maintaining accurate case records, ensuring compliance with employment laws, supporting ER training initiatives, and executing involuntary separations with professionalism.
- • The role is part of Accendra Health, a division of Owens & Minor, Inc., which delivers care beyond traditional settings through its Apria and Byram Healthcare brands, with a mission to Bring Care To Life™ by making essential products and services accessible across every stage of life.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in employee relations case management, employment law compliance, HR policy interpretation, and workplace investigations, while contributing to process improvements and gaining experience in a collaborative, matrixed environment supporting a national healthcare organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- • 4+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations or HR generalist responsibilities
- • Experience supporting workplace investigations and managing ER cases
- • Working knowledge of employment law and HR practices
- • PHR certification or equivalent preferred
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
