- • The Employer Service Rep - LHB role at Health Care Service Corporation supports Tribal ESR operations by resolving claim and customer service issues for a highly visible Tribal customer group, ensuring high levels of service, professionalism, and responsiveness to meet unique business partner needs.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and resolving claim issues initiated by clients or brokers, providing timely written or verbal status updates, following up on outstanding issues, tracking and documenting resolutions, recommending process improvements to prevent recurrence, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, Client Management, and Claims & Customer Service personnel.
- • The role involves assisting with benefit fairs or meetings, completing special client requests or projects as directed, and performing other duties as assigned, all within a fast-paced, customer service-driven environment requiring minimal supervision.

🎯 Requirements
- • Tribal experience required
- • High School diploma or GED equivalent
- • Minimum five or more years of claim processing or health insurance industry experience
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to research topics, summarize findings, and develop recommendations
- • Solid understanding of ERISA and DOL regulations
- • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
- • Self-directed individual who works well with minimal supervision
- • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- • Ability to learn new/proprietary systems and effectively use MS Excel/Word
