- • As an Engagement Manager at LangChain, you will serve as the critical bridge between cutting-edge AI technology and enterprise customers, ensuring successful delivery of Professional Services projects that move organizations from AI prototypes to production-ready solutions. Your work will directly impact how some of the world’s most ambitious companies adopt and scale AI, with real-world influence on teams at Fortune 500 enterprises and innovative startups alike.
- • You will manage the full lifecycle of 5–8 concurrent technical engagements, from Statement of Work review through project closeout, driving planning, execution, risk mitigation, scope control, and seamless handoffs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- • Acting as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, you will deliver clear status updates, manage expectations, handle escalations, and negotiate scope changes with confidence, ensuring alignment between customer goals and technical delivery across Solution Architects, AI Engineers, Sales, Support, Enablement, and Product/Engineering teams.
- • You will coordinate cross-functional efforts by managing resource allocation, capacity planning, and timelines, proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to keep complex, fast-moving projects on track and aligned with evolving business needs.
- • The Professional Services team at LangChain operates at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic customer partnership, playing a pivotal role in shaping how enterprise AI is built and deployed in the real world — your contributions will directly influence the adoption and success of LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith across industries.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and refine engagement methodologies, influence internal processes, and grow your expertise in managing high-stakes AI implementations within a fast-paced, innovative environment that values ownership, agency, and constructive challenge.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of engagement or project management experience, preferably with technical or software engagements
- • Proven ability to manage 5–8 concurrent technical engagements while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- • Strong experience working with enterprise customers and leading customer-facing communication
- • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams (engineers, architects, product) and managing resource allocation
- • Proficiency with project management tools such as Linear, Jira, Asana, or similar
- • Demonstrated skill in scope change management and navigating complex stakeholder dynamics
- • Start-up mindset: thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and takes initiative without waiting for direction
- • Natural communicator: clear, direct, and effective with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
