Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Manager at Hive Technologies Inc., you will lead and grow engineering teams responsible for the platform, infrastructure, and integration systems that power marketing for over 1,500 events and venues across North America. Your role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems that ingest high-volume data in real-time and send hundreds of millions of communications monthly.
• • Day to day, you will manage engineering pods focused on platform services, data integration, and cloud infrastructure; coach and mentor engineers; set performance standards; drive team priorities aligned with company goals; collaborate with the People team to recruit top engineering talent; and improve development processes and tooling to increase team productivity and delivery quality.
• • Hive’s Engineering Team owns the code and infrastructure that enables customers to execute powerful marketing campaigns simply and intuitively. The team deploys to production multiple times per day, iterates based on customer feedback, and builds minimum viable products quickly. You will join a rapidly growing team that has doubled in size over the past year and operates within a remote-first culture spanning Canada and the US.
