đź“‹ Description
- • Lead a high-performing team of 6 engineers focused on building and maintaining Doctolib’s Automation Platform (AUTOP), which enables all engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software with confidence and speed.
- • Own the technical vision and execution for critical developer-facing systems including CI/CD automation, testing infrastructure (unit, integration, E2E, contract, visual regression), local and ephemeral development environments, release management, and dependency management.
- • Drive a "Platform as a Product" mindset by treating internal developers as customers, measuring adoption and satisfaction, and iterating based on direct feedback to improve developer productivity.
- • Set and uphold high standards for automation, quality, reliability, and security across systems used daily by 800+ engineers, ensuring platform stability and scalability.
- • Partner strategically with product teams, Infrastructure Platform, and Applicative Platform to solve cross-cutting technical challenges and align on shared goals.
- • Define and improve measurable developer productivity metrics such as build times, deployment frequency, test reliability, and time-to-production, supporting Doctolib teams in monitoring DORA and performance indicators.
- • Conduct impactful 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations to mentor engineers and help them reach their full potential.
- • Recruit, retain, and grow top platform engineering talent in a competitive market, fostering a culture where engineers own outcomes rather than tasks.
- • Champion engineering best practices and influence technical strategy beyond your team, contributing to the broader engineering culture at Doctolib.
- • Navigate ambiguity and lead through influence rather than authority, building trust and advocacy to drive platform adoption across the organization.
- • Manage a hybrid architecture supporting a large Ruby on Rails monolith and an expanding ecosystem of modern microservices in Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
- • Maintain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- • Leverage AI in a sustainable manner to enhance developer productivity and system reliability across the automation platform.
- • Handle thousands of daily CI builds and comprehensive test suites across multiple languages for over 200 development teams.
- • Be a visible technical leader across the organization, ensuring your team’s work directly enables the success of all product engineering teams at Doctolib.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years managing technical teams
- • Deep platform engineering expertise in CI/CD, developer tooling, automation, testing infrastructure, or internal platforms
- • Proven track record of building and driving adoption of "Platform as a Product" with measurable impact
- • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence without authority
- • Proven ability to balance technical depth with people leadership
- • Fluent in English and comfortable influencing across a multi-country organization
🏖️ Benefits

- • 28 vacation days + 1 additional day per full calendar year of employment (up to 30 days)

- • Company health insurance with supplementary benefits through Allianz
- • Company pension scheme (bAV) with 40% employer subsidy (15% during probation)
- • Enrollment in DoctoGrowth, Doctolib’s long-term employee value sharing plan
