- • Lead a talented, fully-remote team of backend and full-stack engineers who build the software that powers Hostinger’s internal operations. Your mission is to make every Hostinger team faster, smarter, and happier by delivering rock-solid, tailor-made tools.
- • Own the roadmap, architecture, and delivery of two flagship systems: hCRM, our custom-built customer-relationship engine that unifies data for 4 million users across 150 countries, and hTranslate, an AI-assisted product-localisation platform that accelerates global go-to-market for every new Hostinger product.
- • Provide hands-on mentorship and career development for 8-12 engineers spread across Europe and Asia. Run weekly 1:1s, quarterly OKR reviews, and continuous feedback loops that turn good developers into great ones.
- • Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents, ensuring 99.9 % uptime of mission-critical internal services. You will refine on-call rotations, post-mortem culture, and observability practices (Prometheus, Grafana, GCP Monitoring) so the team learns and recovers faster every time.
- • Partner with Product, Data, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to translate fuzzy business pain into crisp technical requirements. You will negotiate scope, sequence deliverables, and communicate progress in a way that keeps stakeholders confident and excited.
- • Champion engineering excellence by defining coding standards, reviewing pull requests, and driving adoption of modern PHP 8.x, Laravel 10, Vue 3, and cloud-native patterns on Google Cloud Platform. You will also evaluate emerging tech such as OpenAI APIs, BigQuery ML, and serverless options to keep Hostinger ahead of the curve.
- • Optimise delivery flow: introduce or refine Agile rituals, automate CI/CD with Cloud Build and Terraform, and shrink lead time from idea to production. Your north-star metric is “time-to-impact” for every internal customer.
- • Contribute to hiring and employer-branding initiatives. You will craft job specs, run technical interviews, and showcase our culture at global conferences and meet-ups, ensuring we continue to attract top-tier talent.
- • Foster a culture of psychological safety, inclusion, and continuous learning. Hostinger’s 10 guiding principles—Customer Obsession, Act Like an Owner, Be Curious, etc.—are not posters on the wall; they are behaviours you model daily.
- • Measure what matters: define SLIs/SLOs for each service, instrument dashboards, and present monthly business reviews to senior leadership. You will turn raw data into actionable insights that influence company-wide strategy.
- • Balance short-term firefighting with long-term vision. While you unblock urgent requests today, you are already designing the next-generation micro-service architecture that will scale to 10 million customers and beyond.
