- • In this highly execution-focused role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive management of the candidate pipeline. You will meticulously oversee the end-to-end flow of candidates across numerous open engineering and technology roles, utilizing the Ashby Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with day-one functional proficiency. A significant portion of your time, approximately 45%, will be dedicated to candidate pipeline coordination. This involves the precise scheduling, confirmation, and rescheduling of interviews, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency for both candidates and interviewers. You will be proactive in tracking candidate progress through each stage of the hiring funnel, swiftly identifying and addressing any potential bottlenecks that could impede progress. Furthermore, you will be responsible for communicating essential updates, providing constructive feedback, and extending timely rejection notifications to candidates, always maintaining a professional and empathetic tone. Promptly responding to all candidate inquiries throughout their hiring journey is paramount to fostering a positive experience.
- • Beyond direct candidate management, you will provide critical recruiting operations support, accounting for roughly 25% of your duties. This involves acting as the primary liaison between the recruiting team and internal hiring stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. You will be the guardian of candidate data, maintaining its accuracy and up-to-dateness across all active roles within the ATS. As the recruiting team scales, you will support recruiting leadership by managing and transitioning workflows to accommodate growth. Proactively escalating any blockers or delays is crucial to maintaining hiring momentum and ensuring that critical roles are filled without unnecessary postponement.
- • A significant aspect of this role, representing 20% of your responsibilities, is dedicated to process automation and workflow optimization. You will be tasked with identifying opportunities to automate repetitive recruiting tasks, thereby freeing up valuable time for more strategic initiatives. This involves a critical evaluation of which processes are best suited for automation versus those that require a human touch to maintain quality and personalization. You will actively work to improve and refine existing workflows, aiming for enhanced efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Your proactive approach to proposing and implementing process improvements will be key to the continuous evolution of the recruiting function.
- • Finally, 10% of your role will focus on communication and candidate experience. You will be the embodiment of the company's brand, delivering professional, engaging, and consistent communication across all candidate touchpoints. Maintaining clear and concise written and verbal communication is essential, ensuring that all parties are well-informed and aligned. You will be responsible for ensuring timely updates regarding scheduling changes and feedback delivery, reinforcing a positive and transparent hiring journey for every candidate.
