- • Lead the Donor Experience Platform team as an Engineering Team Leader, driving the development of a technical platform that powers key donation processing products for FundraiseUp’s global nonprofit clients.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a team of 5-8 Fullstack developers, writing and reviewing code (70/30 management/coding split), ensuring adherence to engineering guidelines, owning feature delivery and deadlines, making technical decisions, preparing designs, managing technical debt, mentoring engineers, conducting 1:1s, onboarding new members, and performing performance reviews.
- • Join a distributed engineering team of 80+ engineers across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus, where deep technical curiosity, knowledge sharing, and product-minded collaboration are valued despite the company’s scale.
- • Grow as a technical leader by shaping team direction, influencing product outcomes, strengthening engineering practices, and mentoring senior developers in a culture that prioritizes quality, mentorship, and mutual respect.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager managing a team of 5–10 developers.
- • Hands-on leader capable of writing code, making sound technical decisions, and designing systems thoughtfully.
- • Strong people management skills in hiring, coaching, giving feedback, and resolving conflicts.
- • At least 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
- • At least 5 years of experience in product companies working with TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
- • English proficiency at B2+ level for confident technical discussions.
