- • Lead the Donor Experience Platform team as an Engineering Team Leader, driving the development of a technical platform that powers key donation processing products for FundraiseUp’s global nonprofit clients.
- • Manage a team of 5-8 Fullstack developers, balancing hands-on coding (70%) with leadership responsibilities (30%), including code reviews, technical decision-making, and ensuring adherence to engineering guidelines and delivery deadlines.
- • Join a distributed, high-caliber engineering team of 80+ engineers across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus, where deep technical curiosity, mentorship, and product-minded collaboration are core values.
- • Grow as a technical leader by owning feature delivery, managing technical debt, mentoring engineers through regular 1:1s, onboarding new hires, conducting performance reviews, and aligning cross-team efforts on a complex, scalable platform built with TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager managing a team of 5–10 developers.
- • Hands-on Fullstack Developer with at least 5 years of experience and proven ability to write code, make sound technical decisions, and design systems thoughtfully.
- • Strong people management skills, including hiring, coaching, giving feedback, and resolving conflicts within engineering teams.
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in product companies working with the core stack: TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
- • English proficiency at B2+ level, enabling confident technical communication and collaboration.
- • Experience in fast-growing companies or startups is a plus.
