- • Lead the Elements team at FundraiseUp Inc., a global fundraising platform powering tens of millions of dollars in donations monthly for leading nonprofits like UNICEF and the Alzheimer’s Association. This role is critical to delivering high-impact, accessible donation widgets that drive real-world social change.
- • Day to day, you will lead a team of 3-5 Fullstack developers, write and review code (70/30 management/coding split), own feature delivery and deadlines, make technical decisions, manage technical debt, mentor engineers through 1:1s and performance reviews, onboard new hires, and ensure adherence to engineering guidelines.
- • Join a distributed engineering team of 80+ engineers across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus, where deep technical curiosity, knowledge sharing, and product-minded collaboration are valued. Despite scale, the team operates with focus, mutual respect, and a flat structure where every voice is heard.
- • In this role, you will grow as a technical leader by shaping architecture using Node.js, Preact, TypeScript, MongoDB, Cloudflare Workers, and Kafka; strengthen people management skills in hiring, coaching, and conflict resolution; and gain experience scaling impact in a mission-driven product company serving global nonprofits.
🎯 Requirements
- • You are an experienced Engineering Team Lead with 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager managing a team of 3–5 developers.
- • You’re a hands-on leader who can write code, make sound technical decisions, and design systems thoughtfully.
- • You have strong people management skills — hiring, coaching, giving feedback, and resolving conflicts.
- • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
- • You have at least 5 years of experience in product companies working with our stack: TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis.
- • Your English is at B2+ level: you don’t struggle to find words and can confidently discuss any technical topics.
