- • Close net new enterprise logos to drive revenue growth and achieve quarterly booking targets as a key contributor to the sales team’s success.
- • Build and manage relationships with VP- and C-suite prospects across large Fortune 1000 organizations to qualify, nurture, and advance opportunities through a structured sales process.
- • Own and expand the sales pipeline within assigned territories, leveraging both inbound leads and proactive outbound prospecting to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- • Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, infrastructure environments, and cloud spending patterns to tailor value-driven solutions that address specific pain points.
- • Negotiate complex enterprise contracts with favorable pricing and business terms by clearly articulating Vantage’s ROI and cost optimization benefits across hyperscalers and cloud providers.
- • Collaborate with the SDR team and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment throughout the buyer’s journey, from initial contact to contract signing.
- • Utilize a solution-based selling approach to position Vantage as a strategic FinOps platform that enables engineering teams to analyze, report, and optimize cloud infrastructure costs.
- • Identify and articulate the key business drivers behind each opportunity, including cost reduction goals, compliance needs, and cross-departmental stakeholder alignment.
- • Maintain an accurate and forecasted sales pipeline with clear next steps, customer validation points, and timelines to ensure reliable revenue predictability.
- • Operate with autonomy in a target-rich environment, leveraging early-stage startup agility to experiment with new sales motions and routes to market.
- • Demonstrate a bias for action by independently building pipeline, driving deals forward, and closing deals without relying solely on inbound leads.
- • Represent Vantage with authenticity and integrity, building trust with technical and executive stakeholders through genuine engagement and deep product knowledge.
- • Work within a remote-friendly culture alongside a high-output team of ~55 employees, contributing to a rapidly scaling sales organization backed by top-tier venture capital.
- • Engage with customers from high-growth tech companies including Block, FanDuel, Decagon, Temporal, and CircleCI to understand their cloud cost challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
- • Leverage familiarity with cloud technologies, developer tools, SaaS platforms, and IT infrastructure to speak credibly with engineering and finance teams.
- • Achieve On Target Earnings (OTE) within the $160,000–$320,000 range, which includes base salary and commission/bonus components tied to performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual sales goals and $100k+ ACV deals
- • Demonstrated success closing net new logos in mid-market and enterprise segments, particularly within SaaS, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or business intelligence
- • Proven ability to prospect, build, and manage a pipeline independently without heavy reliance on inbound leads
- • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 companies and engaging with VP- and C-suite executives
- • Familiarity with cloud technologies, hyperscalers, and FinOps or infrastructure cost optimization concepts
- • Strong negotiation skills and ability to articulate ROI and value-based pricing to technical and financial stakeholders
