- • As an Enterprise Account Executive for the Benelux Public Sector at DeepL, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint in government and public institutions by selling its trusted AI-powered Language AI platform, which serves over 200,000 business customers and millions of individuals across 228 markets. This role is critical to DeepL’s mission of becoming the global leader in trusted, intelligent AI technology that drives better communication, fosters connections, and creates meaningful impact—particularly in sectors where compliance, security, data residency, and accessibility are paramount.
- • You will own and drive the full enterprise sales cycle for public-sector accounts across the Benelux region, from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and post-sale handover to Customer Success. This includes developing and executing territory and account plans aligned with public-sector procurement cycles, frameworks, and budget timelines, positioning DeepL’s solutions as mission-critical for ministries, agencies, and public institutions, and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, procurement teams, and technical decision-makers.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing and growing a pipeline of net-new opportunities while expanding existing enterprise accounts through strategic upsell and cross-sell motions, leading complex deal orchestration by collaborating with SDRs, Marketing, Solutions Engineers, Legal, and Customer Success teams, accurately forecasting revenue, maintaining CRM hygiene, and tracking opportunity details such as use cases, stakeholders, timelines, and procurement steps to ensure consistent achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets in a long-cycle enterprise environment.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring a smooth transition to Customer Success post-sale to drive adoption and long-term value, while operating strategically at the C-level and managing detailed deal execution in a high-growth, fast-paced SaaS environment that demands adaptability and strong cross-functional collaboration.
- • DeepL’s Sales team is a cornerstone of the company’s market expansion and customer engagement strategy, working in close partnership with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. As part of a global team of over 1,000 passionate employees from more than 90 nationalities, you will join a culture defined by innovation, trust, curiosity, and care—where people thrive because of meaningful work, cutting-edge AI technology, and a shared purpose to unlock human potential by making work simpler, smarter, and more connected.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a purpose-driven, fast-moving environment where your contributions directly shape the future of AI and help break down language barriers worldwide. You will develop deep expertise in enterprise SaaS sales within the public sector, refine your ability to navigate complex procurement processes, and strengthen your skills in consultative selling, stakeholder management, and cross-functional deal leadership—all while being supported by a company that values your growth, well-being, and authentic contribution to its mission.
