- • The Enterprise Account Executive for MedTech at PTC drives sales growth within large medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies, focusing on digital transformation solutions that align with clients’ R&D, manufacturing, and compliance objectives. This role is critical to PTC’s mission of bridging the physical and digital worlds, enabling life sciences innovators to accelerate product development, ensure regulatory adherence, and optimize global operations through advanced technologies like CAD, PLM, IoT, and AR.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing tailored sales strategies for enterprise life sciences accounts with over $2B in annual revenue; building and maintaining relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers; leading full-cycle sales from prospecting to closure using consultative, solution-based approaches; collaborating with internal product, technical, and engineering teams to position PTC’s digital thread solutions; staying current on FDA, EMA, and ISO regulations to advise clients on compliance and risk mitigation; and identifying growth opportunities by analyzing trends in precision medicine, biotech innovation, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
- • The MedTech sales team operates within PTC’s global organization of nearly 7,000 employees, partnering with product management, technical sales, and industry specialists to deliver integrated solutions that address complex challenges in regulated environments. The team is committed to innovation, customer success, and enabling life sciences companies to bring safer, better products to market faster through digital transformation.
- • In this role, the successful candidate will deepen expertise in enterprise sales within highly regulated industries, master the articulation of complex technology value propositions to executive stakeholders, and become a trusted advisor on digital transformation and compliance strategy. 🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven focus on the life sciences sector (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech)
- • Demonstrated success in managing and growing large, highly regulated enterprise accounts, including consistent quota attainment
- • In-depth knowledge of life sciences regulations (FDA, EMA, ISO) and experience applying this expertise to guide clients on compliance and risk management
- • Proficiency with CRM systems for accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity management
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- • Willingness to travel within the Americas as needed to engage with key accounts
