  • • As an Enterprise Account Executive for SailPoint Technologies in the Metro NYC region, you will drive revenue growth by selling industry-leading Identity Security solutions to Fortune 500 and ASX 50 organizations, directly contributing to SailPoint’s market leadership and mission to solve complex enterprise access and risk challenges.
  • • You will serve as a strategic quarterback, leading virtual cross-functional teams including presales, professional services, deal desk, partner managers, and customer success to deliver cohesive, customer-centric sales outcomes while ensuring alignment with SailPoint’s values and go-to-market strategy.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include exceeding quarterly and annual revenue quotas, developing and executing territory and account plans, qualifying leads, managing the full sales cycle from discovery to close, conducting product demonstrations and RFP responses, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate Salesforce and Clari hygiene with forecasting and activity tracking.
  • • You will engage stakeholders across customer organizations—from business leaders to technical decision-makers—articulating SailPoint’s differentiated value proposition against competitors like Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt, while collaborating with marketing and channel teams to execute targeted campaigns and partner-enabled initiatives.
  • • The role emphasizes teamwork and accountability: you will not operate in isolation but instead orchestrate internal and partner resources, prepare teams for customer interactions, and ensure follow-through on commitments to drive consistent account coverage and post-sale success.
  • • Over your first six months, you will establish deep territory expertise by mapping stakeholder relationships, segmenting top 20 accounts and Big Bet opportunities, refining go-to-market messaging, building a pipeline 2–3x target, and earning enablement badges such as ā€˜1st Mate’ and ā€˜Captain’ on SailPoint’s HighSpot platform.
  • • You will work closely with leadership to continuously refine your sales strategy, leverage customer references and case studies, and extend value within existing accounts through uplift and expansion opportunities.

  • • Proven track record in enterprise software sales, preferably in identity and access management (IAM), cybersecurity, or related technology domains, with consistent achievement of quota attainment.
  • • Strong ability to lead and collaborate with virtual teams including presales, professional services, partners, and customer success to drive complex sales cycles.
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in articulating technical value propositions to both business and technical audiences.
  • • Experience selling against and differentiating from major competitors such as Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt in competitive enterprise environments.
  • • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales intelligence platforms (Clari), including accurate forecasting, activity logging, and pipeline management.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, sales, or a related field preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered.
