  • • As an Enterprise Account Executive at Kong Inc., you will drive growth by securing and expanding enterprise accounts, directly impacting recurring revenue and market presence in the API and AI connectivity space.
  • • You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing—while building relationships with C-level executives and collaborating across product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • • Kong is a trusted leader in API and AI infrastructure, powering the agentic era for Fortune 500 companies and startups through its Kong Konnect platform, which secures, manages, and monetizes API and AI traffic.
  • • In this role, you will develop strategic account plans, refine your consultative selling expertise, influence product roadmaps through customer feedback, and represent Kong as a brand ambassador at industry events—building deep expertise in enterprise software sales and go-to-market strategy.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales targeting organizations with over 1,000 employees
  • • Proven track record of closing complex deals in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments
  • • Experience selling to large enterprises, including engagement with senior-level executives across multiple departments
  • • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce for forecasting and tracking sales metrics
  • • Strong consultative selling skills with ability to align solutions to customer business outcomes
  • • Knowledge of open-source software, APIs, or infrastructure software is highly advantageous
