  • • As an Enterprise Account Executive at Kong Inc., you will be a key driver of the company's growth strategy, directly impacting the stability and expansion of recurring revenue by targeting enterprise customers in the Rocky Mountain region.
  • • You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to negotiations and closing—while building relationships with C-level executives, delivering tailored product demos, and collaborating with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on customer needs.
  • • Kong Inc. is a leader in API and AI connectivity technologies, powering the agentic era with its Kong Konnect platform, trusted by Fortune 500 companies and startups to secure, manage, and monetize API and AI model traffic.
  • • In this role, you will develop strategic account plans, forecast sales opportunities accurately using CRM tools, represent Kong at industry events, and contribute feedback to influence product development and go-to-market strategies, enabling professional growth in enterprise sales within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales targeting organizations with over 1,000 employees
  • • Proven track record of closing complex deals in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments
  • • Experience selling to large enterprises and engaging senior-level executives across multiple departments
  • • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce for forecasting and tracking sales metrics
  • • Knowledge of open-source software, APIs, or infrastructure software is highly advantageous
  • • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and take ownership of a sales territory
