  • • As an Enterprise Account Executive (South Central) at LangChain, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of cutting-edge AI agent technology across enterprise organizations in key markets including Houston, TX, and surrounding regions. Your work will directly contribute to LangChain’s mission of making intelligent agents ubiquitous by helping technical teams move from AI prototypes to production-ready solutions they can trust.
  • • You will own the full sales cycle for complex enterprise deals, acting as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, guiding them through evaluation, proof-of-concept, negotiation, and post-sale success while collaborating with engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless adoption and long-term value realization.

  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise AI adoption, refine consultative selling techniques for technical audiences, and gain hands-on experience shaping sales strategy in a fast-moving startup environment—positioning you as a leader in the emerging GenAI market.
  • • Own and manage the full sales cycle, from lead stage to close with a strong bias for follow-up and follow-through, ensuring consistent progress and timely deal closure through disciplined pipeline management and customer engagement.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, learning their business and technical needs through active listening and discovery, then demonstrating how LangChain’s suite of products (LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, Agent Builder) solves real-world challenges in AI agent development, deployment, and operations.
  • • Drive proof-of-concept efforts by collaborating closely with sales engineers and product experts to design, execute, and measure tailored technical demonstrations that showcase tangible value, reduce perceived risk, and accelerate decision-making.
  • • Stay on top of product updates, industry trends, and competitive developments in the generative AI space to educate customers, anticipate objections, and position LangChain as the preferred platform for scalable, reliable AI agent engineering.
  • • Build long-term customer relationships and support post-sale success by partnering with deployment and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and expansion, turning initial deals into strategic, multi-year partnerships.
  • • Negotiate pricing, deal terms, and contractual details, working with legal and finance teams to redline agreements, structure mutually beneficial contracts, and close complex enterprise agreements while maintaining compliance and profitability.
  • • Bring customer insights, feature requests, and market feedback back to product and engineering teams through structured channels, directly influencing the product roadmap and helping improve usability, performance, and alignment with enterprise needs.
  • • Help define and iterate on the sales playbook by documenting best practices, refining qualification criteria, sharing win/loss analysis, and contributing to the evolution of LangChain’s go-to-market motion as the company scales.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of proven experience selling complex software or technology solutions to enterprise-level customers, preferably in infrastructure, developer tools, or AI-related markets.
  • • Demonstrated ability to build trust quickly with technical decision-makers (e.g., engineers, architects, CTOs) through empathy, curiosity, and credible technical conversations.
  • • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions clearly and persuasively to both technical and business audiences.
  • • Strong technical acumen enabling you to understand LangChain’s products at a functional level and speak confidently about AI agents, LLMs, orchestration, and deployment challenges.
  • • Thrives in fast-paced, unstructured startup environments and is energized by ambiguity, impact, and the opportunity to help build processes from the ground up.
  • • Solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of navigating roadmaps, overcoming objections, and keeping complex deals moving forward through persistence and creativity.
