  • • As an Enterprise Account Executive at Kong Inc., you will be a key driver of the company's growth strategy, directly impacting the stability and expansion of recurring revenue by targeting enterprise customers in the Southeast region.
  • • You will develop and execute sales strategies, own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, collaborate with product and marketing teams, deliver customized demos to C-level executives, manage account planning, forecast opportunities in CRM systems, and represent Kong as a brand ambassador at industry events.
  • • Kong Inc. is a leading developer of API and AI connectivity technologies, trusted by Fortune 500 companies and startups, building the infrastructure for the agentic era through its Kong Konnect platform that secures, manages, and monetizes API and AI model intelligence.
  • • In this role, you will develop expertise in enterprise SaaS sales, deepen your consultative selling skills with C-level stakeholders, gain experience in open-source and infrastructure software markets, and contribute to product strategy through frontline customer feedback, positioning yourself for long-term growth in a high-impact, entrepreneurial environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales (>1k employees) with a proven track record of closing complex deals in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments
  • • Demonstrated success selling to large enterprises, particularly to senior-level executives and across multiple departments
  • • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and present compelling solutions that drive business outcomes
  • • Excellent communication and negotiation skills capable of managing high-stakes conversations and building lasting stakeholder relationships
  • • Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and leveraging data to forecast accurately and track sales metrics
  • • Knowledge of open-source software, APIs, or infrastructure software is highly advantageous
