  • • As an Enterprise Account Executive for DeepL in Switzerland, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the company’s market presence from the ground up, driving growth in a strategically important region by introducing DeepL’s industry-leading Language AI platform to enterprise clients and eliminating language barriers that hinder global communication and productivity.
  • • You will act as a trusted advisor and product ambassador, deeply understanding Swiss customers’ unique needs to qualify leads, manage full sales cycles, troubleshoot inquiries, and rapidly resolve challenges while positioning DeepL as the go-to intelligent AI solution for businesses seeking secure, human-like translation, writing enhancement, and real-time voice translation.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building a sales pipeline from scratch, pursuing new logo acquisition, upselling and cross-selling within enterprise accounts, forecasting opportunities, tracking deal progress, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue targets as DeepL scales its operations in the DACH region.
  • • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and SDRs, contributing valuable market insights from Switzerland to refine go-to-market strategies, shape product positioning, and ensure alignment between customer feedback and internal innovation efforts.
  • • As a founding member of DeepL’s Switzerland Sales team, you will have the rare opportunity to help build a high-performing, purpose-driven sales organization from the ground up, embedding DeepL’s culture of innovation, trust, and excellence while developing expertise in enterprise SaaS sales within a fast-moving, AI-focused environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in enterprise SaaS sales with a strong track record of selling into and expanding large enterprise accounts, particularly within the DACH region, including deep familiarity with the Swiss market landscape and customer buying behaviors.
  • • Demonstrated success in selling emerging technologies and winning new logos, with consistent history of overachieving against sales quotas and driving revenue growth in competitive, fast-paced environments.
  • • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to orchestrate cross-functional efforts across Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategy, share market insights, and deliver tailored solutions that meet enterprise client needs.
  • • An entrepreneurial mindset, thriving on the challenge of building something new, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, and embracing ambiguity in a startup-like environment while maintaining focus on long-term market expansion goals.
  • • Fluency in both German and English, enabling effective communication with Swiss clients, internal stakeholders, and global teams across DeepL’s international operations.
