- • Manage the full enterprise sales cycle for Coder’s Environment-as-a-Service platform, from outbound prospecting to contract closing, targeting large engineering organizations globally.
- • Generate qualified pipeline opportunities through proactive outbound outreach and by converting inbound leads from enterprise customers seeking scalable AI-driven development solutions.
- • Lead high-impact product demonstrations that clearly articulate Coder’s value proposition in enabling secure, governed, and standardized AI-assisted software development at scale.
- • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers to design and execute technical evaluations that address the specific infrastructure, security, and compliance needs of Fortune 500 engineering teams.
- • Engage directly with software engineering leaders, platform teams, and security decision-makers to understand their challenges around developer productivity, cloud costs, and AI adoption.
- • Build trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, DevOps, platform, and security functions within enterprise accounts.
- • Navigate complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving technical evaluation, legal review, procurement, and executive buy-in from startup to Fortune 500 organizations.
- • Partner with internal cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and customer success to remove friction and accelerate deal progression.
- • Communicate Coder’s mission and technology clearly and convincingly through written proposals, presentations, and in-person meetings with technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Travel up to 15% of the time to support key customer meetings, on-site demos, and relationship-building activities with enterprise clients.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, forecast pipeline with precision, and consistently exceed quarterly and annual quota targets.
- • Stay informed on emerging AI workflows, developer tooling trends, and advancements in agentic AI, CI/CD, and platform engineering to better align Coder’s solution with market demands.
- • Leverage a deep understanding of DevOps, platform engineering, and developer tool ecosystems to position Coder as the enterprise-grade foundation for deploying autonomous coding agents.
- • Demonstrate creativity and analytical thinking to uncover unmet needs within engineering organizations and tailor Coder’s value proposition accordingly.
- • Operate with high self-motivation and ownership, driving pipeline growth without direct oversight while maintaining alignment with company strategy and sales processes.
- • Apply familiarity with GenAI and agentic development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Windsurf, Goose, and GitHub Copilot to speak authoritatively with engineering buyers about their current workflows and pain points.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently based in London
- • 5+ years in software sales with strong prospecting experience, ideally in Developer, DevSecOps, or CNCF technologies
- • 3+ years selling into Fortune 500 companies
- • Experience engaging with software engineering leaders and technical decision-makers
- • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, platform engineering, and developer tools
- • Experience with GenAI & Agentic development tools (Cursor, Claude, Windsurf, Goose, Copilot, etc.)
