- • Own and manage a portfolio of enterprise employer accounts across EMEA, driving renewals, upsells, and cross-sells to ensure commercial growth and retention.
- • Build and maintain trusted advisory relationships with senior executives at employer organizations, becoming their go-to partner for early talent strategy and recruitment technology.
- • Conduct in-depth account analysis to tailor Handshake’s value proposition to each customer’s unique hiring challenges, avoiding generic pitches and focusing on real business outcomes.
- • Use data to craft compelling narratives that inform customer conversations and internal product development, translating metrics into actionable insights.
- • Synthesize feedback from enterprise clients and surface key insights to influence product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and customer success initiatives.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Marketing, Insights, and Product teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact experiences for employer partners.
- • Operate autonomously to manage a large, complex book of accounts, maintaining full visibility into the status, risk, and opportunity of each account at all times.
- • Drive customer adoption and value realization by guiding recruiting teams through platform usage, onboarding, and strategic implementation of Handshake’s tools.
- • Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and lead commercial conversations to unlock additional revenue streams.
- • Prevent churn by anticipating customer needs, addressing concerns before escalation, and delivering consistent, high-quality service throughout the customer lifecycle.
- • Serve as a strategic partner to customers, not just a vendor contact, helping them evolve their early talent programs in alignment with Handshake’s global product capabilities.
- • Contribute to shaping the EMEA customer success playbook as Handshake consolidates its US and Europe platforms into a single global product.
- • Deliver on commercial KPIs including Net Revenue Retention (NRR), expansion rates, and renewal rates, with accountability for measurable outcomes.
- • Meet every customer in your book within 90 days, assess renewal risk, and establish trust with both clients and internal stakeholders.
- • Travel to the office on Mondays (hybrid model), with remote work on other days; occasional travel to client sites or company offsites may be required.
- • Represent Handshake at industry events or customer workshops as needed, reinforcing brand authority and thought leadership in early talent acquisition.
- • Maintain detailed CRM records and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and internal alignment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Background in early talent, campus recruiting, or HR/recruiting tech (non-negotiable)
- • 4+ years in Customer Success or Account Management, managing enterprise accounts
- • Proven track record owning renewals, upsells, expansion, and churn prevention
- • Confident in communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders and executives
- • Data-literate: able to extract insights from data to drive decisions and customer conversations
- • Highly organized with ability to independently manage a large, complex account portfolio
