Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full lifecycle of PermitFlow’s most strategic enterprise accounts—residential developers, national home-services franchises, and top-tier general contractors—managing everything from executive-level onboarding to multi-year renewals and seven-figure expansions.
- • Serve as the single-threaded owner for a book of business worth >$5 M ARR; build and maintain C-suite relationships that turn PermitFlow into an indispensable operating system for pre-construction workflows.
- • Design and execute quarterly success plans that map each customer’s business objectives (speed to permit, compliance risk reduction, cost per start) to measurable PermitFlow outcomes; report on ROI in board-level business reviews.
- • Lead cross-functional “launch squads” composed of Permit Ops, Product, and Engineering to configure AI agents, jurisdiction rule packs, and ERP integrations that cut permitting cycle times by 30-50 % within the first 90 days.
- • Proactively monitor product adoption signals, NPS, and expansion whitespace; run risk mitigation sprints that keep gross retention above 95 % and net retention above 120 %.
- • Build the enterprise CS playbook from 0 → 1: standardize onboarding templates, health-score algorithms, QBR decks, and renewal/expansion forecasting models that will be used by every CSM who joins after you.
- • Influence the roadmap by funneling customer pain points into actionable PRDs; beta-test new LLM features with design partners and deliver feedback loops that accelerate product-market fit.
- • Champion PermitFlow at industry conferences, user groups, and webinars, turning satisfied customers into public advocates and case-study engines.
- • Leverage AI internally—prompt-chains, automated reporting, predictive churn models—to multiply your own impact and demonstrate best-in-class CS innovation to customers.
- • Partner with Sales to craft multi-year, multi-workflow enterprise agreements that embed PermitFlow deeper into customer tech stacks and unlock seven-figure ACV deals.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years in B2B SaaS Customer Success, Account Management, or Strategic Operations with a consistent record of managing enterprise accounts ≥$300 K ACV.
- • Demonstrated ability to build and iterate on CS processes in a high-growth, ambiguous startup environment (Series A–C preferred).
- • Strong data fluency—comfortable building health scores, renewal forecasts, and ROI models in Excel, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- • Experience positioning technical or AI-driven products to non-technical buyers; able to translate complex capabilities into clear business value.
- • Excellent executive presence: you can run a QBR with a CFO, a VP of Construction, and a Head of Legal in the same room and leave all of them feeling heard.
- • Bonus: prior exposure to construction tech, proptech, or operations-heavy vertical SaaS; familiarity with permitting, licensing, or regulatory workflows.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary + meaningful equity packages in a well-funded Series A backed by Kleiner Perkins, Initialized, and Y Combinator.
- • 100 % employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and 75 % for dependents.
- • $1,500 home-office stipend plus company-issued MacBook Pro and any additional gear you need.
- • Daily UberEats lunch & dinner credits and a fully stocked kitchen for in-person collaboration days.
- • Unlimited PTO with a 3-week minimum encouraged; company-wide recharge weeks in summer and winter.
- • Commuter benefits, team off-sites, and annual learning & development budget up to $2,000.
