- • Serve as the primary technical expert for enterprise sales teams across the DACH region, providing deep technical guidance on BlueCat’s Intelligent NetOps platform during the pre-sales cycle.
- • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept evaluations tailored to enterprise network infrastructure requirements in complex, multi-vendor environments.
- • Collaborate closely with Sales Account Executives to understand customer business objectives and translate them into technical solutions that align with BlueCat’s unified network management lifecycle.
- • Architect and deliver customized technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer compliance and operational needs.
- • Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to capture and relay customer feedback on product functionality, usability, and integration challenges to drive product evolution.
- • Provide technical onboarding support to new enterprise customers, ensuring smooth transition from sales to implementation and reducing time-to-value.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SDN, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and network automation tools.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to CTOs, Network Architects, and IT Operations leaders, helping them understand how BlueCat’s platform improves change readiness, reduces risk, and enhances network agility.
- • Prepare and deliver technical training sessions for internal sales teams, partners, and select customers on BlueCat’s platform capabilities and competitive differentiators.
- • Travel up to 30% within the DACH region to meet with prospects, attend industry events, and support on-site customer engagements as needed.
- • Maintain detailed records of technical interactions, customer requirements, and solution architectures in Salesforce and other CRM systems.
- • Represent BlueCat at industry conferences, webinars, and technical forums to build brand credibility and expand market presence in the Intelligent NetOps space.
- • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Support, and Marketing to ensure customer technical feedback informs roadmap priorities and marketing messaging.
- • Stay informed on competitive solutions in the network automation and infrastructure management space to effectively position BlueCat’s unique value proposition.
- • Ensure all customer-facing technical materials are accurate, compliant, and aligned with BlueCat’s brand standards and messaging.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant in enterprise software or network infrastructure solutions
- • Deep technical understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and network operations in large-scale enterprise environments
- • Demonstrated ability to lead technical demonstrations and manage complex proof-of-concept deployments
- • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network automation tools
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the DACH region
