📋 Description

• As an Entrepreneur in Residence (GTM) at finmid GmbH, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, product, operations, and entrepreneurship, taking full ownership of high-impact initiatives that directly influence the company’s growth trajectory and strategic direction. This role is designed for individuals who thrive on solving ambiguous problems from first principles and are motivated to shape the future of a high-growth fintech startup by identifying critical challenges, designing scalable solutions, and leading their execution with autonomy and vision.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include partnering with founders to develop and execute strategic initiatives across product, sales, customer success, and operations; scoping, prioritizing, and delivering solutions to complex business problems; building a deep understanding of finmid’s product and market to anticipate future opportunities; designing and overseeing scalable operational processes that support sustainable growth; coordinating closely with cross-functional teams including Product/Tech, Legal/Compliance, Risk, Capital Markets, and Growth to ensure alignment and delivery; playing a hands-on role in building and scaling teams to support long-term organizational capacity; and driving new ideas, piloting experiments, and pushing initiatives from concept to implementation through rigorous testing and iteration.

• In this role, you will develop advanced skills in strategic problem-solving, cross-functional leadership, and entrepreneurial execution, gaining exposure to high-stakes decision-making at the intersection of fintech, SaaS, and financial services. You will build a portfolio of tangible outcomes — from process improvements to new product initiatives — while strengthening your ability to influence C-level stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive measurable impact in a fast-moving startup environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of total professional experience, including 2+ years in management consulting or investment banking
• 1–2+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or an entrepreneurial role within fintech, vertical SaaS, or financial services
• Proven track record in stakeholder and project management, including direct client interaction and leading cross-functional initiatives
• Strong collaboration skills across diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems into structured, scalable solutions
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, including at the C-level
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, experimentation, and impact
• Experience working closely with product teams is a plus
