- • Manage existing MTEFC business relationships in conjunction with senior management, focusing on construction, transportation, and waste verticals within the Maryland/Western PA territory.
- • Solicit the existing customer base to originate new financing opportunities through bid letters and job awards on publicly funded projects.
- • Leverage industry and equipment knowledge to expand business relationships, deliver sufficient margins, and provide appropriate financing solutions based on customer financial condition and collateral.
- • Provide industry and customer intelligence from surety, suppliers, and vendors to senior management to resolve potential delinquencies and adhere to risk and regulatory standards.
- • Assist senior management with sales training through meetings, conference calls, tradeshows, and one-on-one sessions.
- • Work with management and support teams to drive success using public data sources for competitive advantage.
- • Represent the organization in the marketplace and collaborate with other MTEFC areas to contribute to new business opportunities.
- • Maintain internal control standards, implement audit points, and escalate risk-related issues as needed.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 11 years with at least 7 years’ relevant work experience.
- • Prior credit underwriting experience.
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- • Strong organizational skills.
- • Strong analytical skills.
- • Experience in construction, transportation, and waste industry verticals.
