  • • As an Event Sales Specialist at Perk.com Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling the company’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) offerings to enterprise and legacy accounts globally, directly contributing to Perk’s mission of transforming business travel and spend management through innovative, sustainable solutions.
  • • Your work will help Perk capture a larger share of the $1.3 trillion B2B corporate travel market by positioning the company as a trusted partner for complex event logistics, thereby increasing client lifetime value and supporting the company’s ambitious revenue targets across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • • Day to day, you will collaborate closely with the wider sales organisation, particularly Account Management (AM) teams, to identify and qualify high-yield MICE opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Perk’s service capabilities.
  • • You will be responsible for end-to-end management of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for a global portfolio of clients, including drafting detailed proposals, coordinating site inspections where relevant, negotiating terms with suppliers, and guiding clients through to contract execution.
  • • You will handle inbound and outbound communications via phone and email from existing and prospective customers, providing timely, professional responses to inquiries about event and group travel requirements while maintaining adherence to company SLAs.
  • • You will support sales conversations alongside Sales Engineers (SEs) and Enterprise Sales Executives (ESEs) during discovery phases, helping prospects understand how Perk’s MICE and group travel solutions can solve their specific challenges.
  • • You will proactively nurture relationships with Perk’s enterprise and legacy customers, uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities by anticipating future event needs and suggesting tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • • You will oversee the operational setup of approved events by coordinating with internal TK (Travel & Knowledge) teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics, including venue selection, accommodation, transportation, and on-site support as required.
  • • You will continuously monitor industry trends and venue capabilities across global destinations, leveraging your expertise to recommend optimal locations and suppliers that balance cost, quality, and sustainability goals.
  • • You will actively contribute to team improvement by participating in process reviews, sharing best practices, and suggesting enhancements to workflows, tools, or customer engagement strategies based on frontline experience.
  • • You will embody Perk’s values of ownership, 7-star service, and collaboration by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping to maintain a high-performance, inclusive team culture.
  • • Through this role, you will develop deep expertise in global MICE sourcing, enterprise sales negotiation, and cross-functional project management, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in the corporate events space.
  • • You will gain exposure to cutting-edge travel technology platforms and data-driven insights used by Perk to optimise travel and event spend, enhancing your analytical and strategic capabilities in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Previous experience working in venue sourcing, meetings & events, or corporate travel planning, preferably within an agency or corporate MICE team environment.
  • • Strong knowledge of global venue and event destinations, including capacity, amenities, accessibility, and suitability for various types of corporate gatherings.
  • • Excellent communication skills, with a professional and friendly telephone manner, combined with strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • • Proven confidence in negotiating rates and terms with suppliers over the phone, demonstrating assertiveness, preparation, and a focus on win-win outcomes.
  • • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality work consistently in fast-paced, pressure-driven environments.
  • • A positive, flexible, and collaborative attitude, with a genuine team-player mindset and willingness to adapt to evolving priorities and support colleagues as needed.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Generous vacation allowance plus public holidays, supported by a culture that encourages rest and disconnection to prevent burnout and sustain high performance.
  • • Choice between private healthcare coverage or a gym stipend to support your physical wellbeing, reflecting Perk’s commitment to holistic employee health.
  • • Life insurance coverage to provide financial protection for your loved ones in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  • • Access to Spring Health, a market-leading wellbeing platform offering up to 12 therapy and 12 coaching sessions per year for you and your immediate family at no cost.
  • • 17 weeks of paid parental leave during your child’s first year, supporting work-life integration and family bonding during a critical period.
  • • 16 paid volunteer hours annually to contribute to causes you care about, reinforcing Perk’s purpose-driven culture.
  • • Up to 20 'Work from Anywhere' days per year, enabling flexibility to work remotely while maintaining team cohesion through Perk’s IRL-first (in-real-life) hybrid model.
  • • Language development support through real-life English, Spanish, and Catalan lessons, helping you thrive in Barcelona’s multilingual environment and enhance your professional versatility.
  • • Four-week fully paid sabbatical after five years of service, offering an extended opportunity for rest, personal growth, or pursuit of passions.
