  • • As the Events & Experiential Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Carwow's consumer-focused events strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, manage, and deliver a diverse range of existing and new events designed to drive revenue growth and significantly enhance brand visibility. This pivotal role demands a creative, strategic, and results-oriented professional who can conceptualize and implement impactful events that directly support the company's overarching commercial objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep and extensive background in event management, complemented by robust commercial acumen and a proven ability to foster cross-functional collaboration across various teams.
  • • Your day-to-day activities will encompass developing and implementing a comprehensive event strategy that is meticulously aligned with Carwow's growth trajectory, revenue targets, and strategic imperatives. You will work closely with commercial leadership and the brand team to precisely define event objectives, craft compelling messaging, and identify target audiences for each initiative. A key part of your role will involve creating detailed event calendars, establishing realistic timelines, and managing budgets to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly, on schedule, and within financial parameters. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers to identify, engage, and manage high-impact influencers and creators who will be crucial for amplifying the reach and engagement of brand events.
  • • In terms of event execution, you will lead the entire process from conception to completion, overseeing all logistical aspects, meticulously managing vendors, selecting appropriate venues, and ensuring seamless on-site coordination. Working in tandem with the Brand Marketing team, you will guide the design and production of essential event materials, including branding elements, brochures, and presentations, which the Brand Marketing team will then bring to life. You will be responsible for managing event staff, encompassing both internal Carwow teams and external vendors, to guarantee smooth and efficient operations on the ground. Crucially, you will partner with the Brand and Growth marketing teams to ensure that events attract the right audience and achieve optimal attendance figures, maximizing their impact.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves partnership and sponsorship management. You will collaborate closely with the partnerships team to engage relevant brand stakeholders, potential sponsors, and exhibitors, thereby enriching the offerings and value proposition of each event. This collaborative effort will extend to working with the brand team to develop co-branded content and promotional materials that enhance the appeal and reach of joint initiatives.
  • • The role carries a strong commercial focus, requiring you to actively drive revenue generation through events. This will involve identifying and securing opportunities for upselling, securing sponsorships, and forging strategic partnerships, all in close collaboration with the commercial team. You will be expected to rigorously analyze the commercial impact of all events undertaken and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of future event strategies.
  • • Post-event, you will conduct thorough evaluations, gathering attendee feedback, performing detailed financial analysis, and assessing the return on investment (ROI) for each event. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on event performance, highlighting key metrics such as lead generation, sales conversions, and customer engagement levels. This data and these insights will be critical for informing and refining future event strategies and execution plans.
  • • To ensure Carwow remains at the forefront of the industry, you will stay abreast of the latest industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and explore emerging technologies relevant to event management. Your role will involve identifying and proposing innovative ideas and new event formats that will effectively engage customers and partners in an increasingly competitive marketplace, ensuring Carwow's events are always fresh and impactful.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale commercial events.
  • • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and marketplace dynamics.
  • • Extensive experience working with influencers and creators.
  • • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience in managing stakeholders and vendors.
  • • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess event performance and derive actionable insights.
  • • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • • Proficient in event management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
